Journal of the Vacuum Society of Japan (hereinafter referred to as J. Vac. Soc. Jpn.) is a monthly publication for scientific papers in the field of vacuum science and technology and their applications, such as applied surface science, electronic materials and processing, nanometer structures, plasma science and technique, surface engineering, surface science, and thin films. J. Vac. Soc. Jpn. is intended for reports of original research and review articles written either in Japanese or in English. It also includes the proceedings of the annual symposium of the Vacuum Society of Japan (VSJ), as well as other (international) conferences sponsored by VSJ.
